John joined MacDonald Barnett in 2002 after spending 29 years in multiple roles with a national fire protection company. He has a wide range of experience covering all aspects of fixed fire systems and was a member of three Standards committees covering sprinklers and alarms. He is also a current member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers executive and has been since 2002. John has worked on many projects from care housing to large shopping malls and private hospitals.
